Oh my, so much for tradition. The SEC has informed aTm that their student section will have to move.... and they're not happy about it either. Seems there's a conference rule that prohibits students (and the band) from sitting within 25 rows of the visitors bench during football games. A&M students take a stand against SEC policy

They'll appeal citing MSU's bells which are also against SEC rules. SEC allowed MSU to still have bells in the stadium due to "tradition".

Another little factoid regarding aTm and their football seating....

The SEC requires that visitors get 10,000 seats to conference games. And the visitors get good seats in the lower deck. If aggy hasn't thought about that before now, they're fixing to have a bunch of ****** off season ticket holders.
