It's being updated based off of the number on cyclones.com - there's a counter there.
I just saw an updated tally of 28,985.
A modest increase for the day considering the weather situation. Hopefully it will increase steadily over the next week with mailed applications from the end of Feb. deadline coming in.

does anybody ever recruit friends and other people they know as fans? I know about 7 or 8 people who were ISU fans here in eastern iowa like me and I've talked up the tailgating and everything about ISU football so much they've gotten season tickets as well in the past 3 years or so. This includes one of my best buddies who was a big Cyclone fan, but never went to a football game until iowa/ISU in 2005 when i brought him along...now he is a season ticket holder as well. 
Honestly, I think we need to see this # grow a lot more...
