Much has already been said about ISU winning 20 regular season games 4 years in a row for the first time in school history. On top of that, with yesterday's win we will have a winning conference record for the fourth year in row-also an all time first. And with all the talk about how this team "can't win on the road", we will have at least 3 conference road wins for the fourth consecutive year-another all time first (at least by my research). I believe that Hoiberg now has 13 conference road wins, and Johnny won 15 in 14 years

And suffice it to say that we will be invited to the NCAA tournament for the fourth straight year-for the first time in history.

As always, Fred has his team playing their best ball in late February, and the next 7 weeks could produce some more "all time" success stories.

Gotta love Hoiball

Johnny only had 15 road wins in 14 years? That is crazy.

CFH is doing things that have never been done before. It has been very enjoyable to be a part of.

What a job Fred has done, setting win records against grueling schedules and annually having to replace critical players. We just need some better karma in the tournament.

This coach is something special that all Cyclone fans should embrace and support during good and bad times. Johnny might have put us on the map way back when. Tim Floyd and Larry Eaustachy might have made us a "contender" for an NCAA Tournament bid now and then but Fred Hoiberg has made us a household name that is making another university in this state jealous.
Fred has made this university a household name across this country. You have to love being recognized by others and we are. We are simply feared among our basketball peers. That's a great thing. Thank you Fred for all you've done.

Great post.

...and he's not finished yet. Scary thought for the rest of the Big 12.

I'm patiently waiting for the day he makes us so successful we don't feel the need to bring up 'another university in this state' in every GD thread.
