Scouts thoughts on Brackins

sorry but i dont think he will do much or nothing in the NBA...love him but i just dont see it hopefully im wrong but this year i seen alot of holes in his game such as forcing shots and taking bad angles...

I think brackins will struggle in the league unless he adds some bulk
I think that actually might be a mistake. I view Craig as a niche player in the NBA. A guy who can run the floor, and draw a big out from the post to help balance the floor. I don't see him as a banger.

This, I think Craig could excel for a team like Atlanta or Phoenix. We never got to see what Craig could do on a team that gets up and down the floor.

You know, his shooting percentage doesn't suggest this AT ALL. He was awful from college three point range....that's the outer midrange limit in the NBA.

Really, other than a stretch during the middle of the season last year where it seemed like he couldn't miss anything, it didn't seem to me like Brackins really had a great long range shot. Maybe I just had too high of expectations and remembered the misses more than the makes.

If he's going to make it in the NBA, he's going to need that outside shot, because I just can't see him being able to handle the inside game. For his sake, I hope its just that McD didn't use him properly, because he didn't look like NBA material to me this year.

Or Golden State..I think that would be a great fit. I can see him as an Anothony Randolph with a little less ball skill, and a better jump shot.

No bus throwing here.
He's not one of the best players ever at ISU.
He's got no shot in the NBA.

I agree. If I were building a team, I'd take guys like Damien Staple, Jackson Vroman, Jared Homan and Jiri Hubalek ahead of Brackins. They knew their strengths and gave it all they had on both ends of the floor. I think our team will actually perform better without Brackins next year. They can't do any worse!

The scout's take on CB is completely correct when he stated CB had no help from our guards. So if there is anyone who thinks DG is a good point guard this should give you reason to reconsider.

Yeah, losing NBA talent typically makes teams better.

Apparently the lessons of Mike Taylor and Wes Johnson are soon forgotten.

we are losing dleague or euro league talent

and it's not like we were better or worse with mt or wj. we've been very medicore to bad the entire mcd timeline regardless of the players.
