I love the guy, but if he isn't going to shoot any threes during the game why is he playing? Obviously it isn't his fault. Last year when he was one of our only offensive threats, he would drop shots all night against great defenders. Fred needs to get more shots for him, or take him out of the game. He had three shots today. Two of them threes. Personally the only way he helps the team is to shoot the deep ones. Maybe it's just me, but if he doesn't shoot, he shouldn't play.

If he could just get to the line more than twice a game, his FTs would be a bonus. A good player to have in during intentional-foul time, assuming ISU is ever in a tight game with a lead.

I agree. Starting line-up and PG needs to change. Case and point about 14 minute mark Scott just needs to try for the rebound and a MI player comes up with the ball. It is called effort. Scott needs to come off the bench to shoot 3. Nothing more. That is his role and he should be put into position to do what he doe s best. That is the role of a coach.
Scottie needs to be at the 2. I think he's not taking three's because he won't just launch a heavily guarded prayer, and no one is moving enough or passing enough to pressure the defense into allowing open shots.
No, he need's to play the 2 and shoot the 3 like last year. He's not a point guard and I think he even knows it. I wish he would tell Fred. Scott will never get 3's playing point.

Poor Freddie needs to find a true point guard or this krap will just continue next year.
I sincerely hope that Luscious is the answer because when I see teams play us with good point guards I just KRINGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Scotty should be passing up more looks; have you seen how awful our shooting beyond the arc has been lately as we've started playing legit teams? They're defending the hell out of us on the perimeter because we don't have a point guard who can run the offense or create open looks for the shooters, so damn near every long ball has been hasty and well-guarded.
We shouldn't be taking shots like that, and we're in for a long season if CFH and staff don't start making some adjustments.
Players that I am concerned with so far: Melvin, Scotty, Railey, Chris A, Tavon, and Booker. Three of these start.
Players I am not concerned about: Royce, Bubu, McGee, Babb, Lucious, Percy, Will, Naj, Austin, and Aaron. Two of these start.
