Scanning Ticket question

Can you take a picture of a physical ticket and send to someone? i.e. - will they scan a picture of a physical ticket?

Haven't done it at ISU but have for a Twins game and it worked just fine. Also, have done it flying as well at the gate.

This is the main reason why I laugh when I see people posting tickets for sale with the bar code legible. An easy way for someone to steal your ticket.

Ah, not sure this is true. I’ve scanned tickets via Apple Wallet on my phone.

I sent my buddy the barcode via picture text last season once since and it worked to get in for him.

It may be a matter of convincing the ticket-checker to try. All this new-fangled technology may be a bit off-putting to them.

I have screenshat etickets and texted the pictures to a friend that has successfully used them. I don’t know if the QR on paper tickets is different or not.
