Let me be clear. I like this song about as much as Michael Moore likes salads. But when they played it at the OSU game the entire stadium was rocking. It even caused the ESPN cameras to shake. While i hate the song i think we should make it a priority to play this song in close games where we are underdogs. It can really give the team a boost.

That song fires up the crowd more than any other. There was a basketball game last year (I think Kansas) that they played this in and Hilton was absolutely bonkers.

With the new sound system, I wish they would play the beginning of Seven Nation Army at some point during the game.

Also, as something fun for the students and the obvious connection to ISU, they should play Move Your Body Like A Cyclone (or whatever the name). I know the song sucks, but it would be a good one to play at the first time out of the first half...mainly to get the girls in the student section to start shaking their a**.

They also played it prior to the onside kick and JTS was going nuts. If you recall, both teams had to stand on the field for about a minute waiting for ESPN to come back from commercial, and they got the song in there twice.

The game I remember it most from is against KSU after JVB hit a huge 3 ball. At bball games it should be ONLY used when we go on a run and force the opp. to call for a timeout though.

I agree with the post about using 7 Nation Army opening at FB games it's pretty bad ***.
 
Listening to certain songs in a casual environment suck. In short burst at a high adrenaline environment they rock.

Sandstorm in your car = fail
10-20 seconds of Sandstorm at a stadium = awesome

Did you watch or were you at the Uconn game..... Didnt they play that intro before every 3rd down... I was sick of it... and obviously it did nothing for the home crowd... except **** them off enough to try and off cy....
