NFL: Sam Bradford will get the richest contract in NFL history

Making about $42 million guaranteed without playing a down in the NFL... This is why the NFL needs to set up a rookie salary cap.

vomit, glad this will change after the new collective bargaining/lockout is over next year

This is what the League has come too and you can see that it obviously isn't a good system. Look at JaMarcuss Russell, How much more do you want to give a guy money for him not to perform. I'm just glad that under the new collective bargaining agreement to come this won't be happening anymore

Surprisingly (for this site) we are all in agreement so far. It's just sad that the NFL has allowed it to go so far wrong this long. I hope you are right about this being corrected in the near future.

We have been listening to a stadium debate up here for years. You constantly hear about the millionaire owners and players. I think the millionaire proven star players are easier for Joe Fan to swallow when they are talking about ante-ing up for a stadium. Millionaire rookies who may or may not ever contribute only make the case stronger for the CAVE(Citizens Against Virtually Everything) people.
