royce white redshirting?

Transfer = redshirt. People are really, really naive if they think there's any reason for the NCAA to waive the transfer rule for him.

im assuming that they are talking about him.

DeMarcus Phillips-Will Clyburn: yea we got a all american pf n another late first round pick bro on god.
Will Clyburn lol he got game like that??
DeMarcus Phillips yea big **** like 6'8 got bounce and can shoot the deep ball he a transfer..i think he gone red shirt

guessing he means he won't be able to play this year.
RW will be a sophomore next fall whether he plays this year or not.

alright well i wasnt sure because some people were saying that he might play this year and whatnot

Hence naive. There is no reason for the NCAA to lift the transfer rules for him that we know about, and waiving it sets a bad precedent for everyone else unless there is a REALLY good reason.

so since he got kicked off 1st semester would it be possible for him to play 2nd semester?
I could be wrong, but I don't think he got kicked off. I think he was suspended and left on his own. He was enrolled at the University of Minnesota to start second semester, and the way I read the NCAA rule book, there is no good reason as to why he would get a waiver to not have to sit out under transfer rules.

Maybe I'm just a bit too old and bit too white...
but I understood like half of that.
Is this real?

Perhaps they were using some sort of speech to text transcriber. That looked a lot like my Google voice transcripts when someone mumbled into my voicemail.

IF HE IS REDSHIRTING,LET US HOPE THAT HE CAN LAND THE TWO HOPKINS ,MN, BOYS.GO CYCLONES!!!!!!sorry for my shouting-my apologies
to you grammar geeks!!!!!

Are you sure? I thought he just needed to get his credit level up to where it needed to be and he could go.

Either Hoiberg or White said a few weeks ago it would be all of the season or none of the season.

How about:

1) Didn't know the deadline.
2) Missed said deadline by 1 day.
3) University offered no special circumstances despite previous coach's recommendations.

Well -- who knows. I give it more than 1% chance, but certainly less than 50%. Maybe Hoiberg has some NCAA friends . . ?
