I was actually impressed with Royce being smart enough to take himself out today. He signaled the coaches to get out. He sat out awhile, then feeling better tried to play again. There is no way he could keep up with the speed of the game, and he knew that so he signaled the coaches again that he was done. Too many players, not feeling good or injured, will try to keep playing when their teammates would be able to do better.

It showed maturity that he tried to go, and showed maturity that he knew he was ineffective and took himself out. Too many times you'll see players that aren't "right" try to go out there and end up hurting their team because they don't want to admit they are being ineffective.

Hopefully he can get feeling better over the next few days and be 100% for the Texas game.

I want to find the trashcan he blew chunks in, grab some DNA, and start a Royce White army.

That is pure disgusting and pure genius!!! I'd join you, but pretty sure it would make me hurl and really screw up your army.

It's pretty easy to take yourself out of a game when you are sick like that. Very easy. I'll give him credit for trying to play but not for asking out.

Would we rather have him against Texas or whatever that was yesterday?

I'm more concerned about others getting sick. They should have just kept him away from the team.

The wife commented it looked like he was in a timeout when they sat him back towards the lockers early. They also had a marked water bottle that they made sure he kept a hold of.

Man do I hope he is back and fully healthy against Texas. We obviously need him to even have a chance to win.
