if its a prediction bracket, there's no point in criticizing it. they're just predicting who makes it, and they could be correct, assuming all of these bubble teams start winning games.
there's no conspiracy in college hoops with regards to conferences. we have 13+ pre season games where everybody plays everybody. RPI and other quant systems then spit out data based on all those games. all of the media then look at that data and write about it, and watch games.
so when ohio state goes out and beats duke and florida, teams that beat OSU get a really good win (IL, IU, etc). Indiana beat Kentucky, Notre Dame and NC state on the road; Mich State beat Florida state and Gonzaga, Wisky beat UNLV, etc etc etc.
hate on the b10 all you want (obviously some of those teams are playing better/worse today) but the league piled up a boatload of wins PREseason, which is why the conference is highly ranked today.
