With a slow week of no hoops for a few days, I'm curious to see what people think of this guy. He's been all over the news since his rant with Erin Andrews after the NFC Championship game. Seems like people either love him for speaking out or hate him for not showing humility in winning/success.

Personally, I've been back and forth. I can respect the guy for saying he thinks, but when I see interviews like this one I think he really just comes off as a ******. Thoughts?

Love him...

I agree that it wasn't the greatest interview but I bet everybody on this forum would be the same way if there was a microphone and camera thrown in your face right after making the play that just sent your team to the Super Bowl. Watch the post game interview and he was articulate and well-spoken and that is usually the way he speaks.

Solid player with the mentality that he's the best or, at least, really really good. If he doesn't open his mouth, this week's sports talk doesn't happen, this thread isn't even a rational thought.

He's an arrogant ******* but I would say I'm largely indifferent to him. Ask me again after the Super Bowl though.

He's arrogant as hell, but he backs it up on the field, so I'll give him that. He's not difficult to hate (although I don't), just like Johnny Football. But the guy really is the best in the league right now, and I don't hold his behavior in the postgame against him. I'd be crazy jacked up, too. The whole "ZOMG, Erin's scared for her life!" narrative was ******** from the word go. First, he had an interview seconds before hers and was screaming the same way....and she was just a few feet away, watching. Hard to believe it was shocking that he kept screaming when he turned to the next mic. He also gave her a huge hug right before the camera started rolling (or at least before they cut the footage).

He's not that bad of a guy, and he's not a thug. He's arrogant (and more accurately, insecure), very intelligent and a damn good football player.

After seeing Crabtree take a shot at him 10 seconds before that interview, I understand why he was so animated. Love him!

He's played two seasons in which he was good and then really good. He's not the best CB in the game. Could he be? Yes. He needs to do this for a prolonged period of time before he can self proclaim himself the best. He looks and sounds like a ****** and I'd hate to spend 1 minute debating anything with him because I think he'd go straight to saying "oh ya? Well I'm better at life than you!" What does that even mean?

Richard Sherman was busted for being on stimulants but never penalized. He claimed it wasn't his water.

Sherman acted like a man hopped up on something after the game last Sunday.

He cheats and is allowed to get away with it. Referencing drugs and style of play. Name another DB that gets away with as much holding as he does?

After all that he acts like a complete D Bag any and every time he gets a chance publicly.

How is it even a question whether or not this man is liked?

Edit - Would it surprise anyone if this all goes Ryan Braun on Richard Sherman? For me it wouldn't.

Sorry that didn't turn out...but watch it...trust me. LOB!!!!

Y! SPORTS

While only looking at the video, it looks as though Sherman may have said something derogatory to Crabtree to make Crabtree push/slap Shermans helmet. But with this audio, its clear that Sherman only says, "Helluva game. Helluva game." Thats all that was said at that time. So its actuallly Crabtree who was the bad sport at that time & NOT Sherman. I have to admit, I was wrong initially.

I'm no Seahawk fan but, it is apparent that he is one of the elite CB's in the league RIGHT NOW. That being said, he seems like one of those dudes you love to have on your team but is very easy to hate if you're a fan of any other team.

Not going to read all the comments. I voted dont care. My opinion of him didnt change from 2 weeks ago till today.
