Feedback: request to open

I've been getting a pop-up to open a file from various pages on CF... I deny it and about a half hour later it requests to open again

Seems to be an issue with internet explorer. I get it there, but not on Firefox

I'm on a Mac and using the latest Firefox.

between that and the auto run of video ads, it is more and more of a pain to read threads on this site and not get ****** off.

Because CF is such a security vulnerability, I don't dare read it at work anymore... you are putting your life into your own hands. Too bad.

[FONT=&quot]Solution: In IE, Click Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced Tab and then uncheck "Enable third-party browser extensions"... after you uncheck that option, restart your browser and then open page.[/FONT]

We believe that this problem is being caused by IE addons, which are in conflict with some javascript that we have on site. We aare trying to find solution which can solve problems without changing settings in IE but this is what we have for now.[/FONT]
