Red Sox Suck

I'll take the Red Sox over the ****ing New York Yankies

What? Yankies wasn't stared out? Should be :skeptical:

I actually couldn't care less about baseball now adays (too many scandles, too much focus on money, ect)

However some habits die hard... like hating the Yank's

What sucks is I would like to move out that way someday, but I could deal with the fans. Its not the team that bothers me so much, but the fans that support them. They're the most stubborn bunch.

No - it's the bandwagon fans. I have no problem with the people that grew up Boston and such, but 2004 rooting for the feel good story does not a fan make!!! Makes me very angry - and I'll stick by you, Cubs fan! We're in this till the end... and our loyalty will be paid off!!!

(Case in point: my sister in law - born and raised near Chicago - got a promotion and moved to Boston about 2 years ago I believe. For the past 5 months, when I see her or get emails from her, all I hear is Patriots this, Red Sox that. I always yell at her, asking her why she gave up on the Bears and Cubs and she says she'll always have them as her number one, but "when in rome"... F'n KILLS me :mad::mad::mad:)

I was on the Red Sox when I was in pee wee league. I never like another team. Not only do they not suck. They rule

Yeah DH is a bit rediculous. As much fun as HRs are to see belted.. it gets old after a while. I like a lot of good small ball

True..

I was more talking about the style of baseball

Crazy, how great minds think alike.
In my opinion, AL does not play baseball the way it was meant to be, granted they beat up on the NL, but I would rather watch a well played strategic game than a slugfest. Strategic baseball (ie. bunting, hit and runs, and a rotating lineup depending on who you play) is what makes baseball, baseball to me. It does not bring the fans in, but thats how baseball was made to play.

I agree, without the DH, the managers actually HAVE to manage... Having the pitcher hit makes a HUGE difference.
