Starting a new thread for recruiting. There are not many top 2023 recruits remaining especially at weights of need which are 197, 133, & 141 (if swiderski bumps up). I would like to get Hagerty (197) or another top 50 197-pounder, Lemley/Wells or Porter (133/141), Adams (141/149) and definitely take Ruiz (157) if we are still in the mix for him. Not sure the mutual interest level on these guys but these would be my focus.

Not many elite transfers but here are a few we should be contacting. This is my order of interest.
1. Henson 133/141
2. Kennedy Monday 174
3. Matt Finesliver 174
4. Dom Demas 149
5. Stevo Poulin 125
6. Yaraslau Slavekowski 285

Not sure how many would be a significant improvement over what we have. Did I miss any?

no idea. Has to be tight. Maybe transfers would come from a NIL. Just a guess if the Suriano NIL talk was true. Would think the staff wants a high level transfer, not a NCAA qualifier. I don’t think the transfers are over yet

Lemley is the best left on the board he makes it look easy. Porter has lots of upside and a head to head win over Wells and a hand full of future hawks. Poulin best days were when he was 8-12 years old. Henson could just be a dream but dreams do come true!

I’m just leaving this thought. Just because a kid is committed to XYZ University, doesn’t mean he still isn’t being recruited by this staff.

It ain’t done until the ink is dry.

Who might be XYZ university……
 
In Minnesota Bennett Tabor was #23 on the 2021 big board with Flo. He is 197/Hwt and they have Gavin Nelson a Jr and #10 on the 23 big board committed at 197/Hwt. Max McEnelly is a Minnesota kid #36 on the big board going to be a 184/197. If we are stealing from big10, steal that kid. Minnesota is creating a log jam up there and one might be convinced to go somewhere else.
