RECRUITING: With recruitment closed, Caleb Grill is ready to set his focus on basketball

I'm confused. You say he played 3 sports but he says he played 3 other sports. Which is it? We know he played FB, BB and high jumped from JP's tweet, but did he play another sport? Inquiring minds want to know.

Don't be fooled by the Maize population of 5000. I live in the Maize school district and it encompasses a good portion of northwest Wichita. The district boundary on the south is the start of the district Breece Hall is from. I feel like I'm living in a Cyclone recruiting hotbed!

Sounds like the Waukee district

Maize High School has 1368 students 9-12 when googled. For reference, Ames High has 1277 per the same search.

Yeah, this is why I always found it funny when people kept saying he was from small town Kansas.

Btw... I know you guys on the podcast are going just off latest rankings but yesterday rivals listed him as top 150 player and it’s likely 247 reevaluates their rating of him for one final ranking...

I believe 247 just did their final ranking.

I found it very interesting that he made "the decision to skip the shoe circuits that dominate summer basketball recruiting." How common is it for D-1 recruits?
