I thought I would make a thread to discuss who we would like to join us to fill out the rest of the 2017 football class at ISU.

Actually, Caleb Chandler and/or Thayer Munford are at the top of my list. After a redshirt, they'd be eligible right after a bunch of seasoned then-seniors will graduate.

OK this will kind of weird list but I'm not sure who I like the most especially the OL position, so I have some options

CB (although I would like him as a LB)

All of my people that I choose for my list have express some degree of interest in ISU

So the 14 seniors plus 9 others? How do you know who the 9 others are going to be?

I counted up the redshirt seniors and regular seniors and it was 23

Good choices and I'll add in Cam Akers from Mississippi as RB.

oh I would Love to get Cam Akers and while chances of getting him has increased with Kam White commiting here has increased our chances, he would be a heavy lift.

We already got the two I was wanting...Tongamoa and Lima. Those two along with Cam were my top choices still on the board until a week and a half ago.

We needed the bulk up the middle on the DL above all else with everyone that is leaving after this season.

If by some means we can get Chandler to sign on the line that would be the icing on the cake.

Then I really would like to see a HS DT but not sure we are currently after any of them right now are we

RB still a player in this class. A juco or transfer LB would be a good idea IMO. I think we have our commits on the DL already. Mostly I think our needs are already in this class. I think most of the rest will be trying to go after stud athletes

Which is awesome. The staff has gotten commitments that fill our needs. Now they just have to maintain those commits and can swing for the fences on a few guys.

Whats the latest with Keontae Jones? Is he visiting this fall? I thought he would be on board with his brother on the team but we have gotten verbals from a lot of DBs it seems like

I feel like we would have got jones commitment if he was coming here by now but hopefully im wrong. he is good, but we are doing pretty good among DBs right now
