First.

There is a ton of smoke coming from Noskowiak's Twitter follows and followers. The Mens basketball handle and multiple staffers are all following him and he is following some back.

The first "Latest News" post from NN's Rivals page link shows "Marquette took another step forward under Steve Wojciechowski with the commitment of four-start point guard Traci Carter" dated 3/10/15. NN may have his "situation" figured out and he's ready to play D1 basketball but the door to Marquette may be closed due to Carter's choice.

The Emerald Coast classic next season will be like a reunion for Va Tech (former Marquette) HC Buzz Williams.

Lets just say this is the overall template we usually see prior to a commitment or at least a strong charge over the past few years. Not saying it is a done deal, but it is safe to say we've seen this happen before.

It baffles me how far out of his recruitment we got after TJ left.

We went from full interest, to absolutely no interest. No offer.

Either that or NN had absolutely no interest in ISU without TJ.

It just seems weird to me. You would think Fred would've stuck with TJ's evaluation and kept after him if Hoiberg himself was cool with it.

@TravisHines21: Told ISU has not offered PG Nick Noskowiak ('15, WI), but there is renewed interest from ISU. Noskowiak previously committed to Marquette.

Is it safe to say we have renewed interest only because of our new (old?) assistant?

The Michigan St pipeline has dried up, but the Marquette pipeline may never stop.

Man, Marquette has to hate us.

Noskowaik
Burton
McKay

That's already 3/5 of a decent starting lineup we've appropriated from them.

:jimlad:

Anybody know how this guy compares to Custer except being a year younger (and a year less under the shadow of the Destroyer of Worlds that is Monte Morris)?

I think it had more to do with Noskowiak's personal situation.

I'm getting a feeling you're shocked by all of this or something?
