RECRUITING: A few notes on 2018 PG Tyler Harris

Been doing a little digging on this kid this morning...

Sounding like Iowa State is going to get a visit next week. Not sure if that has been reported by anyone or not but that's what I am hearing.

Important note here: There is a long and keep relationship between Harris and former Prohm PG Cameron Payne - both from Memphis. Harris views Payne as a bit of a mentor I'm told. You'd have to think that puts Iowa State in a decent spot.

We'll see. He's got a pretty impressive offer list so it won't be easy.

Nice to see Lard is mentoring someone. He has to have learned a ton during his roller-coaster ride to D1 college basketball. I like players that aren't all about themselves.


Edited to say disregard comments about Lard. Cameron Payne is the one mentoring him.
