This kid would be a perfect fit for what Herman wants to do with a back. IMO he is very similar to ARob in how good he is not only out of the backfield but on the receiving end split out. My guess is he will be one of those recruits that blows up later on the the recruiting season. It seems it has already started, but I think it will get bigger.

Yeah - definitely runs well in space, and based on the highlight film alone, seems to be how they use him, and when he does well.... duh.
I hope he stops hurdling people unnecessarily at the goal line - one of these times, he's going to get himself injured.

That kid would look GREAT in an ISU uni!!! His footwork is incredible and looks like he has really decent speed. There are a couple clips were I was really amazed he didn't go down, and the last clip he bounced that outside and found a hole. Kid looks good!
Could you imagine if we sent Rhoads and Hoiberg TOGETHER to recruit for both sports?!! How couldn't you sign?:smile:

I see that Florida, Oklahoma and Texas are looking at him, but haven't offered. Everyone else seems pretty sure they want him, including Iowa
Two things:
1.) Keep your feet on the ground or your gonna get killed in college.
2.) Needs to learn to transfer the ball to his right arm. If you watch that video he carries in his left arm every single run and doesn't switch when he gets to the outside.
Other than that..ya he's got some really good moves. He will get run down as it doesn't look like he's got elite top speed but his quickness is very good.

Agreed. This kid has amazing speed but I'm worried about his ball security. Most of the time it looks like one good pop will jostle the ball loose.
And jump! Jumpin' Jack Flash is a gas - gas - gas. His verticle is 34", but he's going right over top of guys who are about 70" tall. I had to watch that twice. Wow!
2) I know this is a rule of all rules, but there are a few guys in the pros that don't switch. I think Tiki Barber quit switching once he changed the way he carried the ball.

Haven't seen Standard aside from his LB/RB video on Rivals. Is there more video of this kid? From what I've seen of Cam he looks like a gem. Standard better be amazing to want him over McDaniel, especially considering he is battling grades (Standard, that is).
Cam looks like this kid out of East Dillon, TX named Luke (forgot last name). Really good speed, untapped power, good kid. Dad makes him work on the farm in the morning and after practice. Although I heard he might have a bit of a prescription pill problem and just found out he knocked up some girl in his class.
Originally played for the Dillon Panthers but because of a border war had to switch to East Dillon where the scouts aren't as prevalent.
