Isn't it wonderful to see quality kids who are enthused about coming to ISU? I haven't been this optimistic about the future in years!

Exactly what I was thinking. They sound like two level headed young men who would both be a great fit as part of the ISU family. I'm very encouraged by Coach Rhoads and his staff and what they are building!!

While I think Chizik got some very good talent, I am extremely impressed with some of the guys that we are in the hint for. We have a great chance with quite a few 3 star guys which is where we need to start. I love what he is doing and I really hope our final signings reflect what we have seen so far.

Jeremiah told Cyclone Sports Report that his game day experience went as well as possible. "Getting to see the spirit walk was crazy as people were screaming my name and they had even made signs with my name which made me feel like I was a player there," he said.

Was that anybody on here? If so, great job!!!

I am on the firetruck every week and sometimes the driver. The smiles on this group of kids was fun to see. Not unusual, but this group really seemed to be enjoying themselves.

With the student section throwing the towels, "Cyclone Power", along with the wave, and yes, even Sweet Caroline, what a fun environment we are starting to create for these young men and us old men...

I'm also proud of how our fans are treating these recruits and letting them know that college football players are mini celebrities in Iowa. Being a high school kid and seeing a fan holding up a sign with your name on it must have been very special.

"It just made me feel like I need to be a part of this program because it felt a lot like like a family."

Bet anything we wouldn't have seen those words had George been a year older

You're welcome. Shook his and Pierce's hand and told them both it will be great to see them here next year. Those guys thought it was pretty cool that people in Ames Iowa knew thier names.

You deserve some of that stuff they're talking about on the "Does ISU still have hostesses?" thread...
