Funny, the fight attendant didn't care just wanted to diffuse by trying to half the problem.
I just think it's funny they put the blame on people reclining. The companies have squeezed the seats in for years. Tall people getting worked up over it is a natural consequence. I have broad shoulders. I stay cramped the whole flight to try and fit. Just the way it is. I don't blame the person beside me because the arm rest is digging into my ribs.
Anyone who reclines on a domestic day time flight is scum. Red eyes, overnights, and most international flights… go for it.

The flights I take are like 15 hours long, so I have to recline. Even then I still can't sleep on a plane no matter how tired I get.
