Not convinced Kiffin was a bad hire. More convinced that Al Davis hiring him and then immediately handcuffing him by making all his personnel decisions for him was the bad idea.

Reports are that Al Davis and his band of hoodlums had a meeting earlier today without Kiffin knowing about it.

Pretty tough to get any continuity when you're changing head coaches every 2 years, sometimes quicker than that.

Its not Kiffin's fault he has a bad owner. Rumor is Davis wanted to fire him in Jan but didnt want to pay the buyout, so he thought he would make Kiffin resign, Kiffin said I'm staying until you fire me. Makes you want to work for the guy doesnt.

Well, it's got to be Kiffin. Especially after something like this. Apparently he though Janikowski could make a 76-yard field goal on Sunday.....76 yards. Maybe he knew his time was up so maybe do something crazy and Old Man Davis will have a heart attack and Lane can keep his job. Never seen anything like this before though.
