Raiders fire Allen

This is why the Raiders have sucked forever. They never stick with a guy. Yes, they have been AWFUL this year, but you cant expect greatness in a season and a half

Wow, who's gonna be dumb enough to take on that job?

I don't know who in there right mind would want to take a job in that dumpster fire they call a franchise. Not sure what the coaches name was before Allen, but they were idiots letting him go when they did. I think he was .500 for the year and he got the boot. Pretty sure AL Davis ghost still runs(haunts) that franchise.

-2 cities they call home after the move back to LA

Does the NFL want them in LA? They are a mess from the top down. The ownership isn't going to change. For a team to be in LA the NFL needs to find an owner that is willing to spend the money needed to win. Having a ****** in team in LA is worse than having no team at all. The fans there will only support a winner.

Wow.

- 20 seasons
-10 head coaches
- 3 winning seasons
You can't achieve any sort of stability when you are constantly switching. They seemed to be heading in a somewhat positive direction with Tom Cable but then Al Davis' kid took over and fired him IIRC.

Mike White 1995-1996
Joe Bugel 1997
Jon Gruden 1998-2001
Bill Callahan 2002-2003
Norv Turner 2004-2005
Art Shell 2006
Lane Kiffin 2007-2008
Tom Cable 2008-2010
Hue Jackson 2011
Dennis Allen 2012-2014

The ghost of Al Davis still haunts the Raiders. They have a roster full of high priced guys that used to be pro bowlers but are way past their prime. They are still suffering form a lack of draft picks that Al traded for.

I'd say the current woes are not caused by the coach but by the head office.

Heck, they paid Jarmacus Russell $7M this summer. Anyone remember him ? Anyone?
