Nascar is running a road course in Austin Tx. today. It's been raining the whole race and these guys can't see anything. There's been a couple of real bad wrecks already where one driver just drove right into another.

It looked like it was a lot better after the red flag. I don't think they can let them race 100+mph driving blind.

I know it's probably just the cars (and the drivers), but it's crazy to me that NASCAR says they can't race in the rain, while both F1 and LeMans both run in the rain all the time. I mean F1 is open cockpit! How's that for not being able to see. It always rains at LeMans and those guys are going stupid fast with 4 different classes of cars on the track and in the dark.

NASCAR drivers are all about driving super fast, close to each other, even bumping. Not conducive for driving in the rain.
