Can anybody give me a quick run down of what the difference is between Quicken Starter edition and Quicken Deluxe is?

Having gotten into the real world at the beginning of the year, having gotten married in June, having just bought a house, and having a wife that is a shopoholic (I know, not in the minority here) that only stops when you can show her the figures and can see the damage she may do, I'd like to keep track of what's going on. Doing so manually on a spreadsheet is getting to be (or should I say has been) far too time consuming.

I've tried just using Quicken online, but it won't recognize a savings account we have, and we can't enter it manually. Will we be able to do this using the Starter Edition or Deluxe?

TIA

I'd like to use mint. But they can't get my basic checking set up and the tech suppport blows.

I've used just basic quicken for over 10 years. I just use it to keep track of my accounts. I don't use the built in bill pay. I do all that through my bank and then just download everything to quicken. I've never wished I had one of the more expensive editions.

I used Mint before but it's a totally different animal.
