I'm as mad as anybody right now...actually been upset with everything (mostly coaching and decision making) for the last couple of years.
I'm curious if everybody would forget this past weekend's debacle if by some chance they come out and beat K-State next Saturday? Or would everyone still want CPR gone?
It would be one of those CPR unexpected victories that would get everyone excited and ready to take on Iowa.
I'm just curious I guess.

If they can beat K-State they can in the very least show they still know how to coach. I would be happy with 4 wins this year. Hopefully we can be competitive. If not, then I must say, Rhoads will be in trouble.

It will take more than next weekend, but it would be a great start. I'm losing hope, but there is still a chance to keep my support.

It would help a lot. Kstate is a team who doesn't do much to lose a game, so we would obviously have to win the game instead of having it handed to us.

no possible scenario all will be forgiven or forgot. its one small step toward that however. Beat Kstate, then Beat Iowa, and we can then begin discussing being okay. the chances of that happening however I put at 5%.

Good question by the OP, and one I've been asking since Saturday. Six years in, we're past the annual CPR upset special. A win on Saturday (far fetched as that notion may be right now) stops the bleeding some but there needs to be week to week improvement that shows in the standings. No more free passes just for notching one upset win. The program should be much further along than that; I don't care how far down things were when he arrived.

Stop that right now. For shame. Why in the world would Rhoads ever want to achieve the impossible with so many "fans" howling for his keyster? I sure wouldn't. If anyone here can do better, get off your duff and get out to Jack Trice. Then we can rip you to shreds and you can tell us how it feels. Enough already.

tired of this already.jpg

Going into season I planned for 4 wins, thought 5 or even 6 were possible and thought that if CPR was the type of leader we expect in our athletic department at ISU he would find a way to get 7 wins, allowing one might be a bowl game.

Wouldn't change those objectives at all at this point. However, I would the chance of them happening at least in half based on the product put on the field last weekend. If they beat KSU they would be back on track but have a lot of work still to do to get there.

Deal. Give me the same amount of $$$ CPR has been paid over last 5 years, come back and see me in 5 years and if you don't like the product, I will go away - or if you prefer - offer myself for public humiliation.

Bull. This is the kind of criticism you open yourself up to when you sign the contract that pays you two million a year. No, it isn't fair but a salary like that demands performance. And if the team doesn't perform and/or embarrasses itself, it's ultimately on CPR. Public criticism is part of the job. Don't like it? Win some games.

I've seen FB wayyyy worse than what I've seen the last couple years. For me, gameday is about more than the game. I'll be there whether we will zero games or win them all.

Beating KSU, or at least competing with them, will at least show me that we have the talent and the toughness to compete with basically anyone we'll face this year.

That would help my state mind a LOT right now because right now I'm scared we don't have the talent or toughness to compete with anyone on our schedule.

Beating KSU would be a start. Beat KSU and Iowa and then I think a lot would be forgotten, but there is still a lot of football to be played. Now if by some crazy miracle we dominate KSU and win by 20+, then I think a lot of people would forget about the debacle this past Saturday.

I have ate at this restaurant for 40 years. The food is ******, but not as ****** as 30 years ago. That is what some of you are saying. PRs overall winning percentage is now worse that all ISU coaches as a whole. I cant take anymore bad football. It hurts me to watch it.

Did the performance go down when the extension was signed?
