Question about the final rankings...

So with Iowa only dropping 1 spot after losing to a team ranked lower than them....what would have happened if Clemson lost? Would Michigan State AND Iowa both get in the playoff? I mean Iowa was 5th in the final rankings.

I totally forgot that they announced them today. Thought we would have to wait until Monday. I also thought the last couple weeks that they would avoid the OU-Bama matchup in the semi-finals. Get the best two potential teams in the finals.
