10 appointments a day, 6 days a week.

1 postponement this week.

Tax season is a beautiful thing.

Working from home. First time doing this extensively and I’ve enjoyed it so far. I can basically do my days worth of work in 5-6 hours. It’s been nice to start the day a little later, end a littler earlier and take a long lunch break with no one breathing down your neck.

Teleworking. The problem is our VPN is temperamental on an average telework day when several hundred people are connected. Now we have several thousand (wouldn't surprise me if it's upwards of 10k) connected to VPN at the same time and our system simply isn't designed to handle this many people accessing the system at the same time. At times Outlook is barely functional, sometimes to the point where I'm connected to the server 1 minute out of every 5 (or even worse than that). Network drives are touch and go. It's so bad that at times work-related websites and web apps are barely functional. So, while I'm waiting for my work computer to be of any use in getting any real work done, I'm keeping entertained by my cell phone, as well as the TV - whether it's my anime binge or clearing off the DVR or even letting my wife watch something when she needs a break from the kids.

No doubt. When this has passed and everyone goes back to the office and school I'm going to push to make my job a permanent telecommute. I've seen zero drop-off in productivity or efficiency.

I've found that I work better in sweatpants and slippers. I'll be recommending dress code updates once we're back at the office.
