Tough day to be in Ames today, but I will be back tomorrow. Can't wait to see Thomas, Morris, Kane, and Hogue for real! Better times are coming. Now feel free to hijack my thread and fire coaches, talk Iowa or UNI basketball or anything else that might interest Cyclone fans?? Thanks and Go Clones.

Only a few games are true sellouts. (Michigan, Oklahoma State, Kansas, Iowa and MAYBE Baylor.) It's awesome that all the tickets are sold out but that upper student section in the balcony will always be pretty empty unless we play a big time opponent. I hate being the negative guy but it's just the truth. They need to open a couple of those sections for season tickets.

Last year they started selling 3,500 student tickets for the 2,500 seats to combat this issue. No way should we shrink the student section when they are the ones that make Hilton go for those big games you mentioned.

Yeah they are what makes Hilton loud but it sucks when you have empty seats because they can't fill their whole section.

A true sellout is when all tickets are sold. Just because not all the students show up for when we play bad teams doesn't make it not a true sellout.

Thank goodness that Hoiball is now upon us and we can forget this dreadful football season....Now maybe just maybe we can feel the glow of some big time victories.
