Trimmed short like that, it's not as hot as you think. I've been rocking full beard during the summer here in the south for a few years now. Used to cut it back to a goatee for summers, but one year I ended up getting a lot of sun prior to shaving it and didn't want to have ridiculous tan lines. The rest is history.
