Prohm: McKay's suspension remains indefinite

I don't want this to happen but the ultimate lesson for him would be to lose a close game while he sits out for this.

I thought McKay kind of really hurt his chances for playing wednesday by coming out and saying "1 game". You don't act like you are in charge when you aren't in charge. That was a really poor tweet. If I'm the coach, a suspended player isn't going to tell me how many games to suspend him. So maybe it was going to be one game, but he forced at least one more by saying "one game".

Yeah, he's a bit of a slow learner...

Probably not going to win the Big12 regular season - so let him stew on the sidelines and regain his focus. Let him come back with the right attitude for March and make a run.

That would be the worst lesson. The ultimate lesson would be for him to watch us win 2 road games in a row without him.

I think TT is a better team than Okie State with its missing guys. Hope Georges has a better game than he usually does in that arena. Would be nice if Nader could get going again.

Fully support Coach's decision, but hope the wear and tear on the guys that play doesn't cost us another game in Hilton.

not really. If Jameel is as selfish as some of you think, he'd think he'd feel he was justified in acting like q child if they lost.

The he best thing would be if Iowa state won and Jameel realizing the team does not revolve around him.

I think this is why we saw a little bit of Simeon on Saturday even though he is really not ready yet. Just a reminder to Jameel that we'll play with the guys that want to be on the floor.

I would actually kind of laugh if he comes out with a post tonight that says something like "come see me back in action at Hilton on Saturday."

Only if following the loss the team kindly asks the coaches to step out of the locker room for a bit then 5 minutes later they all emerge with Georges and Monte giving Prohm a "it's all good and officially settled" nod, Jameel has a swollen eye and a bloody nose with his head down nodding a "yep I get it now" and Burton is quietly in the corner with a devilish grin and rubbing his knuckles.
