AL East Champ NY Yankees (unfortunately)
AL Central Champ Detroit Tigers
AL West Champ Texas Rangers
AL Wild Card TB Rays

NL East Champ Philadelphia Phillies
NL Central Champ Chicago Cubs
NL West Champ LA Dodgers
NL Wild Card NY Mets

ALDS Detroit over NY, TB over Texas
NLDS Chicago over NY, Phil over LA

WS Chicago over Detroit (going back to where it started)

AL MVP Josh Hamilton

*Other predictions:
- The Brewers will finish 4th in the NL Central
- ARod hits 45+ HRs
- The Red Sox won't make the playoffs, and will spend $300+ mil next offseason
- The Royals won't finish in last in the AL Central

I'm sure I have others, but that's off the top of my head.

Not a drinker, but I like some of the offseason moves they made. Plus, deep down, I've kinda liked the Nats since they were born.

Adam Dunn does not make an offseason. Scott Olsen is no better than a #4 SP... I like ATL's offseason more, if you wanted to make a crazy NL East pick :)

Picking Joba to win the Cy young makes me question your sobriety more than the Nats for the WC.

Why? He had a 2.60 ERA last year in his mix of bullpen and starting work. 1.26 WHIP isn't great but not bad. Doesn't give up a lot of home runs, strikes out a ton. Has an offense behind him that can get him W's when he doesn't pitch well.

AL East Champ - Boston
AL Central Champ - Minnesota
AL West Champ - Los Angeles of Anaheim
AL Wild Card - Tampa Bay

NL East Champ - New York
NL Central Champ - Chicago (because there's no better option)
NL West Champ - Los Angeles
NL Wild Card - Philadelphia

ALDS - Twins, Angels
NLDS Mets, Phillies

ALCS - Angels
NLCS - Mets

WS - Mets

AL MVP - Morneau
NL MVP - Wright

AL Cy Young - Halladay
NL Cy Young - Santana

This, of course, is all dependent on whether the Mets offense does anything the first half of the season, unlike last season...

All of that is true, but This will be the first year were people have really seen his starting stuff before. Last year when he switched to a starter people hadn't seen him yet(yes, they saw him from the bullpen but that is completely different from starting.) I am not saying I do not think he will be a good pitcher, I just don't think that this will be the year he wins a Cy young. Especially with the gaudy numbers the rest of that staff is capable of putting up. If he does win it I will gladly eat my words because he is maybe the only Yankee that I like, but I just respectfully disagree.

All that matters is

Cubs NL Central Champs all others are meaningless conversations

You say that as if winning the NL Central means anything this year (they might as well hand them the title and save the division 162 games as no one's going to compete with them this year, and it's not because the Cubs are so "spectacularly awesome")...

*disclaimer - a lot of these are total homer picks and I know it*

AL East Champ - Yankees
AL Central Champ - Indians
AL West Champ - Angles
AL Wild Card - Red Sox

NL East Champ - Mets
NL Central Champ - Cubs
NL West Champ - Dodgers
NL Wild Card - Phillies

NLDS - Mets, Dodgers

ALCS - Indians
NLCS - Mets

WS - Indians

AL MVP - Grady Sizemore
NL MVP - Ryan Braun

AL Cy Young - Fausto Carmona
NL Cy Young - Johan Santana

AL Come back player of the Year - Travis Hafner (I hope)
NL Come back player of the Year - Barry Zito
