Surprised Chelski fell away as far as they did. Once again the sports washing group wins the league fancy that. Now they have added the best young striker in the game for a mere 200 million pounds with 40 mil agent fees (dead agent Mini R) 51 mil transfer fee and his wages.
Considering Liverpool is still favorite to win three cups, including a CL repeat, it’s difficult for fans of lesser clubs to feel your indignation. Another great season by your Reds…
Do you expect anyone to feel bad for a Liverpool fan? I mean do we feel sorry for UT fans whining about calls in the Red River matchup?
I don't want people to feel sorry for us I want the playing field to be level like FFP was supposed to do. Citeh have broken every single rule of FFP and they continue to spend beyond their means. They don't even try and hide it. Decision on their cheating due today from the premiere league of which nothing will happen, AGAIN. Not just them I don't see head choppers united (newcastle) as fit and proper owners.
I've been a Leicester City fan since I took some work trips to the UK about 7 years ago. I was able to buy a Mahrez jersey from the Kingpower stadium shop during that trip. LCFC is the only team out of the big 6 in the last 25 years to win the league. Blackburn being the only other team to ever win it outside that group in the 90s. There has never been parity. FFP was just a way for large clubs like Liverpool to try and shut the door on teams like MC and Chelsea who were looking to buy their way in. Sorry we aren't buying the indignation.
Blackburn won because they were Man City in their days. Jack Walker, long time fan and steel magnate, bought the club in 1990 and poured money. They signed Alan Shearer, Chris Sutton, Tim Flowers, David Batty, Collin Hendry, Mike Newell, Roy Wegerle, David Speedie and hired Kenny Dalglish as manager. These were England and Scottish internationals (with exception of Roy Wegerle, who played for us in the 94 World Cup).
Their only "home grown" successful player was David May.
Probably means you keep Conte and he will cause trouble for the top teams if they give him the money he will demand.

Matchday 38 - 2022 has concluded in a satisfying manner. Not that I'm thrilled with MC winning the title, but I'm happy the entitled Liverpool fans don't get a Quad - still haven't decided if I'll root for them in the CL Final.
Tottenham qualifies for Champions League after an absence of several years and Sonny is co-winner of the Golden Boot. Spurs finish ahead of Arsenal. All in all, a fine day.
Lastly, I'm happy Leeds United stays up - Sometimes good things happen for "unloved" teams...
