YNWA - That goal by Coutinho was an amazing bright spot in an otherwise drab affair. I agree teams should've been lining up for him and not Sterling, but it was a win-win for LFC and MCFC. They needed English talent, LFC needed money to fill voids. I think Firmino and Benteke will turn out to be brilliant signings.

Anybody watched much of Memphis for Man Utd? Looks like a stud but can become a black hole at times. Utd. was mostly listless against Newcastle.

Petr Cech and the linesman were both solid in stopping scoring chances today.

Some pretty fantastic goalkeeping on both sides. Our already suspect at times defense without Koscielny or Mertesacker holding down the center was going to be rough, Cech showed why he was worth the money though. And Cocquelin is a ******* beast.

That game could have gone 3-0 for either team very easily.
