I really think a good chunk of the 'buy in' is his honesty and directness with players.

Sure plenty will chase money and more 'glamorous' places but having the comfort of boundaries and community is underrated.

I think it was Gilbert that said it was one of the biggest deciding factors why he transferred to Iowa State. He said that he’s never had a coach be as blunt with him and he feeds off of that style
