Poor Fran

Jeez Mad Fran. Get some talent, then complain that they aren't working hard.

Anybody notice his players weren't paying any attention when he threw the chair. Funny thing is, MSU had more fouls called on them, and Iowa shot more free throws than MSU.

hahaha saw this on the other videos.

Thats what I saw. The players didn't even blink an eye.

Best part is, kid posted it thinking is was the coolest thing. Instead, might be the funniest. Fran out of hand! Prolly did an 8 ball.

Hawk fans have spent a lot of time bashing Rhoads for going crazy on the sidelines, but Paul doesn't direct his anger and chairs at his own players.

Not really seeing where Fran throws the chair at a player....but this kind of behavior is inexcusable, either way. I love Fran's intensity (it is welcomed after Lickliter, who was the polar opposite), but that might be a little over the top.

hahaha what an idiot... Hope half the team transfers cause they're sick of his $#*t

No offense but I love how many Cyclone fans love Paul Rhoads "passion" but think Fran is an out of control idiot...

Personally, I like Fran's fire...its 10x better than Ferentz's sideline personality.

How many penalties have your seen Roads, or any football coach get?
No offense, but it is easily understood that what is acceptable as a football coach is not for a basketball coach.

Your lack of rebuttal says it all.

You want a rebuttal? Fine. ISU fans got all randy when Fred slammed the table in a post-game presser after MVSU a few weeks ago. Many wanted him to show that same fire to get the team lit up and ready to play, and stop playing so ****** for half the game, every game.

ISU fans LOVE the fire Rhoads shows on the sideline. Love it. They love his post-game locker room speeches, and are still talking about the "So proud" even a year later.

How is the chair slam by Fran any different than the guitar-rockout at the refs by Rhoads any different? Oh, that's right, different sports, but that's it.

I can see why ISU fans don't like the way Fran acts. Just like I can see why Iowa fans don't like the way Rhoads acts. But when you have a coach within your own program that does similar things, it's really hypocritical, and stupid, to cast stones like that. Please, rebut, Richard.
