The more opinion based/content filler podcasts can get annoying. Pete's kind of all over the place with his takes, and can get a little whiny/slip the occasional unnecessary political commentary in.

But it's definitely worth being part of your roster.

Why I say to listen during FB season - that’s when he does his best work.

Every once in a while Pete or someone else from his site will come on Miller & Condon to talk ISU/Big 12

I've been subscribed to him on Youtube for a while now. Usually pretty good Big 12 content. Although I know him and Chris W have gotten into it a few times.

Yeah he hosts a daily radio show in KC that’s pretty political. I can appreciate what he does during the football season, but I don’t really align with his other outlets.

He's very good in those guest spots on other people's shows.

I wasn't fully aware of that, but it's not too surprising. I can tell from what slips into HCS that it wouldn't be my cup of tea.

I've listened to Pete a few times, mostly shortly before and after
Gold & Blue Dude passed, when the rumors about conference realignment was pretty hot. Gold & Blue Dude was entertaining and I miss him. So Pete was good, OK, no complaints.

I will put Heartland in my saves and check in from time to time. Thanks.

I really enjoyed that interview. Iowa State athletics appears to be in great shape despite all of the realignment and NIL drama. We are extremely fortunate to have Jamie Pollard as our AD during these times.

I haven’t listened to a lot of Mundo’s pods but I don’t recall him being political though. I know he tweets a lot about politics so I don’t follow him. Sports are an escape for me so I don’t want politics to be injected. That’s why I don’t listen so Sage or Miller and Williams on Iowa Everywhere. I don’t care which end of the spectrum it is. I’m not sure why those guys don’t make separate twitter accounts for sports and their political opinions.
