If SR can keep playing anything like he did last night, he's going to remind me of former Cyclone great David Archer.
How about we just prepare for WV then let the speculation begin. Sam had a great game, but its only one game, but I like what I saw and have been waiting for him to get his turn. I hope we keep going forward, just ride the momentum train baby.
Well said. Hard for us fans to contain our enthusiam after such a great performance, myself included. Time to focus on the mountaineers and getting to a better bowl.
As long as he survives the WV and bowl games the job has to be Sam's to lose going into next season. I would love for GR to be good enough to win the job but that does not seem likely.

I think SR has the upper hand right now. I don't see CPR going back to Barnett unless he's forced to and I also don't see Rohach jumping both of them on the depth chart prior to next season's opener.
Sam had an incredible debut but he's still going to face tough times. WV is watching film now and preparing for him -- KU didn't. They will throw everything but the kitchen sink at him Saturday.

clearly the answer is to not speculate about the future because our players will lose concentration on wv and also look ahead. yes, we as fans hold the key to our own success. will be put it in the lock? somebody had better stop speculating.
