Poll: ISU -3.5 vs Oklahoma State

On paper and based on the eye test, this should be the easiest game on the schedule. Outside of a few Kansas and Iowa State teams, there hasn't been a team that has looked worse than OSU in the Big 12 for a while. OSU has been putrid in so many phases. Iowa State has at least been good at punting and defense.
I expect our 1.6 yard per carry will increase temporarily, but the wind and potential rain may limit most air threats beyond 5-10 yards. Since we don't throw beyond 10 yards, we shouldn't be impacted there.
I expect a lot will ride on which team can limit turnovers if the ball is wet. Our punting should give us a field advantage. It's hard to believe OSU doesn't have better talent than they've shown, but we'll find out a ton about Iowa State tomorrow.

Good news is if we are forced to run all day due to weather defense is at a disadvantage when the RB makes a cut in the rain; considering our defense is better maybe it will indeed be an advance to us. We shall see.
