+10? What? I figured +7.5 at worst. ISU definitely keeps it within 10.

Cyclones will try to beat Kansas State at their own game, it won’t work, and we won’t show any signs of life until it is too little too late. At this point we know what Iowa State is. We’re an ok team that isn’t too far off from being better than that, but can’t get over the hump against good opponents. I think 10 is probably about right.

CW thinks it's a bad spot but surprisingly the team comes out with good effort and execution.
They still can't run well but it's adequate. Passing game is ok but the defense is getting worn down by the opposing run game. It's a grind but offense is moving the ball just enough to be effective.
It's what you would expect, a physical tough game but the youngins show their growth and the team is up by 1 in the closing seconds. Victory forma...*record scratch* a running play, a bobbled handoff to the RB, KSU scoops it up and run it in for the winning score. Hot Seat Guy comes out of hiding with his smug smile and ANF hat.

We’ll have one-or-two quarters with good offensive play calling that gives false hope. Then we’ll go back to our typical run-up-the-middle/short-pass/punt schemes.
Assuming the game is even close in the second half, we’ll see the offense needlessly burn precious time off the clock and waste at least one timeout, closing the door on any potential come-from-behind victory.
