First let me say that this post is in no way meant to disrespect SDSU fans or players. I would just like to touch on something that has been mentioned over and over in regards to the Jacks.

Many fans feel that SDSU will out "heart" the Cyclones erasing any talent advantages, etc.... The assumption that our players will be outdone on the emotion side shocks me a little.

I am noone to judge the talent of a Div. I football program but in watching the posted Highlight Video above I noticed something very important.

Granted, it is a highlight video, when you watch our team play, they play with a confidence and a swagger. Personally, I love that. Especially with our young guys. I encourage everyone to watch this video and try and notice the emotion that our guys are playing with. I dont know how you can't have goosebumps. If our team comes out focused and plays with emotion, I cant imagine it will be a contest. If they dont, hang on folks.

To all SDSU fans, I wish you safe travels and can't wait to see you in the lots here at Jack Trice!

GO CLONES!!!

To me, the operative word is "physical." I like seeing our players jacked up for a big game and playing with emotion; however, if a team relies on emotion, they are setting themselves up for mishandling adversity. I'd rather see emotion in the stands, to be honest.

When a team is "physical," the OL wears blood on their jerseys, the QB loves getting knocked down after getting the pass off, a RB gets stronger in the fourth quarter, and WRs fight for jump balls instead of flopping for the pass interference call. Chizik talks about coaching the team to be "physical" and that gets me excited for this season.
