If you had to pick the most iconic play for ISU each year, what would they be?

Here are my initial thoughts on several years below:

2019: Assalley Game-winning FG against Texas

2018: Rose fumble TD against Kansas State

2017: Lazard game-winning TD against Oklahoma

2016: ?

2015: Warren fumble against Kansas State

2014: Netten game-winning FG against Iowa
...
2007: Culbertson game-winning FG against Iowa

2018 honorable mention: DM punching that Baylor player in the head

2018 Honorable Mention
Spears INT to clinch the game against TCU.

And his pick 6 against Tech was a dandy

Would 2010 go to the onside kick return for a touchdown against texas tech?

There were lots of great plays in the game vs texas that year but nothing truly iconic as far as a single play goes.

Purdy to Jones on the first play of the 2nd half vs. Texas this season was vintage Purdy.

Jones to Pettway vs. Iowa was sweet at the time.

A few nominees, pre-2010 … some obvious; others arguable.

2009: Tiller TD pass to Williams vs. Nebraska. (Put in Tiller!!!)
2005: Brent Curvey pick-6 vs. Colorado (or one of Blythe’s 4 TD catches vs. A&M?)
2004: LaMarcus Hicks pick-6 vs. KSU (first that came to mind - that 4th Q was so f***** awesome)
2002: The Run
2000: Insight Bowl: JaMaine Billups 72-yard punt return (first thing that came to me)
1996: Troy Davis 10-in-box TD in TD's 378-yard game vs. Mizzou
1992: Marvelous Marv!
1979-82: Alex Giffords Somethin’-Somethin’ :D

Hands down the play of the year was Purdy diving on that fumble against UNI to save that game.

Had we lost to UNI, our season could have easily went in the toilet quick. I doubt we make a bowl game at all if not for Purdy diving on that fumble.
