NFL: Plaxico Burress indicted

Plaxico Burress has been indicted by a Manhattan grand jury investigating a gun charge against the former New York Giants wide receiver, New York City prosecutors said.
The indictment handed down Monday charges the 31-year-old Burress with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon and one count of reckless endangerment.

I guess he won't be playing this year

The hierarchy of sins for an NFL Player appears to be killing dogs > unregistered gun possession and discharge > killin' a dude 'cause you couldn't call a cab.

Oh well, at least he didn't leave the scene of his self-inflicted gunshot wound. That's all that really matters, right?

Yes...discharge of an unliscensed firearm in a public place is a VERY big deal, and any of us would be indicted if arrested.
