After the Holiday, I'm actually rooting to go to the Pinstripe Bowl.
Yes, it's cold, and not in Texas. But personally I prefer NYC over Dallas, especially at New Years.

I don't understand why the Pinstripe is even a Big 12 bowl. Who thought that was a good idea?
The lack of fan attendance will hit the ADs pocketbook as well, when they have to eat all the unsold tickets. I'd take just about any bowl over the Pinstripe.

Really have no interest in paying the costs to fly to NYC on new years ($$$), then hotels there around new years ($$$), to pay very high ticket prices (seriously, go look.. seats between the endzones on the first 2 decks start at $155), at a baseball stadium where the action is way, way far from the seats.
Actually flights to NYC are not too bad, especially compared to Dallas or San Diego. However the hotels and tickets are ridiculous. I am hoping for Insight, Holiday or Texas... I think that Holiday may be our best shot especially if we win one of these next two.
The "Hudson Line" goes right past Yankee Staduim on it's way to Manhattan.Fly to Newark, stay in New Jersey, and take the train over to NYC. It is only expensive if you want to stay on Manhattan.
