Hey thanks for this! Another class-act move. Sorry to see a Cyclone loss, but I'll live.

Happy and healthy new year to you all back east!

As promised, here are the photos I took from tailgate through the end of the game. My seats were in Sect. 228 for the game.

Enjoy!

Did you tailgate with anyone from the RV in the corner of the lot with ISU vanity plates?

Interesting, this looks like the kind of spot that some of us had hoped to use for tailgating, but were told by so many that "no one brings an RV to tailgate in The Bronx."

Nonetheless, our Pep Rally in the Babe Ruth Pavilion was a fantastic experience.

Actually, the crew I was with came in 3 luxury coaches. Several did. I was actually rather caught up with several of the ladies in our group.

When I first saw the RV, I was quite surprised. In all the years going to Yankees games, that was a first.

Glad to hear the pep rally was great.

So, when you did find time for the food-related tailgate activities, were there Iowa State fans tailgating outside the RV? Or was it just parked there?

P.S. I now see in one of your pictures a small white RV with ISU folks in front of it. But I think the big bus-type RV in the corner also had ISU vanity plates.

LOL! The tailgate actually started over in the Scarlet Lot at Rutgers Stadium with a choice of pork roll, egg and cheese or bacon, egg and cheese, or egg whites sandwiches, doughnuts, bacon, and either hot coffee and chocolate with Kahlua or cointreau. It took about 20 minutes for the food to be set up on the street side of the lot. We were there from about Noon to 2:45 when we went into the Stadium.

As for the large RV, I didn't have a chance to mix 'n' mingle with ISU fans until I got into the Stadium. So I'll have to presume the ISU fans who were out front were owners of the large RV. Others from our group did talk with them extensively and complimented them on their graciousness and friendliness.
