we need to get flight tracking again!
When you do, and some of you may already know this, but when looking at it, you might want to look at the Ankeny airport as well .......I'm just saying.....

In another article, it notes he was offered an administrative position at TN. He accepted - but didn't he later retract on that?
Cotlar and Conn are idiots. Who cares if someone "has interest" in the ISU job. Is he serious with this? The biggest dork in the world.

He's certainly a "name" hire, but color me a bit unimpressed with his record the last few years.
If he's not winning with GOOD players in a weaker than usual SEC, I'm not sure he's going to win with our average players in a stronger Big XII.
And he lost to freaking Wyoming this year.
Hiring Fulmer is looking back at his past, not looking forward to the future of ISU, IMO.
He would be exactly the "name" hire that we don't need instead of the "coach" hire which we do.
I am just glad to here that someone is interested in the Iowa State job. Seems like after Gill said "no way Jose." I was worried everyone with a big name would not give JP the time of day. I think Fulmer would be a pretty exciting hire. I think existing players might think about staying around if we were to hire someone like Fulmer.

No, he's both the "name" and "coach" hire. Do you people honestly think the man is washed up or something? He's 58. He was in the SEC. Not everyone can win every single year.
What is hilarious is some people are suggesting that Fulmer could use us as a stepping stone. He's Phillip freakin' Fulmer. He's ONE HUNDRED games above .500 in his career. The winningest coach in our school history is 30 games under .500.
I just wanted to go ahead and get that question out there instead of having it linger around all day. I like getting things like that out of the way. He doesn't look like a guy that wants to do a lot of moving around.
If he's interested, let's explore this thing.
