I'm surprised there isn't some rule prohibiting this. I mean you can't wear shorts, but you can strip to your undies and hit a shot?

Most players would put on their rain suits then just roll their pants up... If someone like Camillo Villegas pulled that they would have to delay the tournament to get all the women off the course...
