I don't think this has been asked (I did a search and couldn't find anything).

At the game today, just as halftime was starting, there was a big group of press cameras gathered around somebody standing at the front of the student section. The people around him seemed to be going crazy. It seemed someone was being interviewed. Then the interview apparently wrapped up, and the person walked up the stairs up to the concourse level, giving high fives and shaking hands with students all the way up. Cameras kept following him while this happened.

Who was it? I was too far away to be able to tell.

ESPN is doing a "Campus Connections" thing--they have a student reporter at all of the games that they (espn) are covering this weekend. If it was a college-age person in a suit, it was the ESPN--Campus Connections Reporter. I know they showed him in front of Cyclone Alley at the beginning of the game with the 10 or so CA members directly around him going crazy. I missed the beginning of the 2nd half though so don't know if it was the same person.

EDIT: or maybe it was Coach Rhoads, i dont know

I had a feeling it might have been Rhoads, but I wasn't sure. I guess I'm surprised that there were so many cameras around him. Maybe they were expecting him to announce the DC. :mask:

After the interview, he proceeded to walk up the stairs in CA and was getting all kinds of pats on the back and support from the students. He seemed really excited and happy to be here.

the halftime show took up the spot on the court were they usally talk during halftime. so they moved it in cyclone alley.
