He said he promises a big 12 championship in the future. Great for our fan-base and hopefully recruits. Now i think the recruits that texas doesn't offer will have more of a reason to come to Ames.

I had some doubts before, but heck - if he can promise a championship in the future, then he must be spectacular. I wish Dan McCarney would have made a promise like this sometime during his 12 years.

I appreciate that No 1 Fan is encouraging donations too. Besides, I like his Avatar image. The Lone Ranger is an appropriate metaphor for a Cyclone fan.

Paul Rhoads is special. Other programs will be calling Jamie for the opportunity to interview him for coaching vacancies. I don't know what drives Paul's motor but it's obvious that he cares about his players. Just like Jamie, he responds to emails, These men know that the fans are the backbone to success. Fans in the stands get the recruits to pay attention. Fans ponying up at the donor window will pay for the athletic building upgrades needed to catch up with the Joneses.

I sent $100 after the Utah blowout. I sent $250 after the UT win. I'll send $500 after the bowl game.
